•Travis Benjamin Ryan was born on August 16th, 1983 to James and Kristina Ryan. Travis’s father was a lawyer and his mother was unemployed and stayed at home with the couples three children.Travis grew up having anything he could ever want. He grew up secure and happy not really having any major problems growing up.
•Travis grew up in Manhattan and never actually moved far from home. Sure he probably could have moved away to just about anywhere when he got older but he had no desire to leave the city. To him New York would always be home and he couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
•At age 5 his mother discovered that Travis could sing and she quickly got him involved with a bunch of local choirs and made sure he had the best vocal lessons that money could buy.
•At age 13 he took up guitar. While he wasn’t near as naturally talented with an instrument as he was singing he still practiced as much as possible. If asked he would probably admit he enjoys the guitar more then he does singing mostly because it didn’t come as easy to him.
•When he was in high school he joined his first band. It was a crappy hardcore band that covered lots of other old school hardcore bands that were popular at the time. He only played guitar in the band but seemed to love the experience more than anything.
•He was accepted to Julliard School of Music with a scholarship for his vocal performance. He attended the school for a little over a year before dropping out. It wasn’t that he didn’t appreciate the experience but opera really wasn’t his thing.
•When he dropped out of Julliard his mother was pissed and immediately kicked him out of the house. Still Travis had a sizable bank account so he never really was one who suffered or was forced out on the street.
•Shortly after moving in to his own place Travis slipped in almost seamlessly into the music scene there. His drinking, smoking and drug use never really started until then but to most he appeared a pro.
•Travis started a new band that year and they seemed to gain quite a following. Travis finally learned how to used his classically trained voice to his advantage and still make music he liked. That band was only together for two years before breaking up. It’s suspected that Travis’s ego had a big part in the bands break up.
•Hardly a month after the band broke up Travis was approached by a friend to join a new band he was forming. Travis jumped on the opportunity and that band was later to be known as Faceless. The band has been together for years now and Travis feels they’re just on the verge of becoming big.
•Travis has been dating the same girl for a year and a half much to everyone’s surprise. Still there are plenty of rumors of Travis cheating on her but some how the girl seems completely oblivious to it. Travis really does seem to love her but that doesn’t seem to stop him from sleeping around.
•Travis is loyal to his closest friends almost to a fault. When it comes down to it if some one hurts some one he cares for or starts talking shit about them Travis will take care of business. He has no problems starting fights and seems to be very capable of taking care of himself.
•Travis always seems to throw the biggest parties around. Some times they get so loud that the cops are called and more then once he’s been told if he doesn’t stop it he could end up losing his apartment. However the threats don’t bother him as he still hasn’t been kicked out.
•Travis has been able the keep his biggest secret for months now. He doesn’t even remember exactly how it happened and he’s sure he was quite drunk the night he slipped into bed with his best friend’s brother. He had never before had an experience with another man and he has a feeling if any one ever found out it would ruin him. Still he’s even more scared to admit he enjoyed it.
•Travis has no real plans for the future. Even with his 25 birthday being right around the corner his only real ambition is to make music. He feels that the only thing he’s destined to do is this and won’t take anything else.
